Building clever, magical experiences that use tech in fresh ways

apps at the intersection of art & tech

"Technology alone is not enough…. It's technology married with liberal arts, married with the humanities, that yields us the result that make our hearts sing." — Steve Jobs

Your smart phone may contain an incredibly advanced chip with 6.9 billion transistors, but it’s the artistry of the developers and designers that make it wonderful to use. We’re building our independent studio at that intersection between the engineer and the artist. We believe this is the secret to products that use technology in fresh or clever ways.

OUR THOUGHTS:

1

Bring something new

Turn the formula upside down. Take a piece of cutting edge tech and use it in a way the original R&D team would be surprised by. We don’t think every product has to reinvent a genre, or define a new one (though that’s always welcome), but bring a spark of originality.

2

Do things big companies won't

Be a bit irreverent. Be willing and able to make a tool or a game that only some people need, because you don’t have investors to keep happy, only customers. Make funny or delightful things that you want to use yourself.

3

Appreciate and support customers

We’re really lucky to get to make amazing things and find an audience to share them with. We value every customer, and work hard to earn your support. If we let you down, tell us, we want to fix it.

4

Build a community

We can build relationships that go beyond “give me $2.99 and I’ll give you a great game.” Our favorite companies build real communities, and that’s our goal too. We’re an entertainment company. Let’s have fun.
